Easy measurement that even grandmother can handle
For proper measuring place the pressure cuff firmly but comfortably on your arm, about 1 or 2 cm above your elbow in accordance with the symbols on cuff. Your arm should be slightly lifted or placed on a pad so cuff is at heart level. Measurement can be also performed while you lying down.
After a short relaxation, needed to relieve a pressure, just press the button symbolizing the first or second user to start measuring. The cuff inflates itself and gradually blows off during measuring. The display then displays all results with diastolic and systolic pressure measurements as well as a heart rate.

The display shows the measured results with color indication as recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO):
Optimal pressure – green
Normal pressure – green
Slightly elevated pressure – yellow
Hypertension 1st degree - orange
Hypertension 2nd degree - red

iHealth CLEAR BPM1 also records heart rate during measuring and can detect irregular heart rhythm (arrhythmia). All results and values should be consulted with your doctor. The blood pressure monitor is charged with supplied microUSB cable. Battery life is up to 180 measurements.

More clever features with iHealth MyVitals
However, if you need to monitor long-term development of measured values, we recommend you to sychronize iHealth CLEAR regularly with iHealth MyVitals app, which is free and compatible with iOS or Android smart devices and WiFi support.

Before first use just pair the smart blood pressure monitor with your WiFi network. Consequently all measured values will be automatically transferred to your application. Application, in addition except of well-arranged graphs with long-term development or tabular display of values, allows you to edit measured results and even share them by e-mail with your family or doctors.

Meteorological station
If you have disconnected cuff from blood pressure monitor and turn on iHealth CLEAR BPM1, you will see an outdoor and indoor temperature. Blood pressure is affected by many factors and one of them is the temperature change. You can have different values in winter or in summer. Therefore, iHealth CLEAR can warn you in case of temperature fluctuations, this functionality makes it easier to understand all measured values. However you should consult these with your doctor.

In the application you can also set reminder with time regular measurement. It is also possible to set iHealth CLEAR according to "Rules 3", ie. 3 measurements in the morning, 3 measurements in the evening for 3 days, for the most relevant results according to international recommendations.

Complex monitoring of personal health condition
iHealth MyVitals application allows complex monitoring of variety of life significant values, evidence of physical activity and energy intake. This functionality is followed by another ones, planning personal goals, monitoring of their fulfilment and planning of specific activities.

Cloud account
You can log into your user account except application also on the manufacturer's website iHealth. So in case of loss or damage on your device you do not lose all your readings. By simply connecting multiple devices, such as smartphone or tablet, with an online account you can perform all measurements with any of your connected devices and monitor results in all others.

iHealth CLEAR has passed trough clinical tests in accordance with the ESH requirements (European Society for Hypertension), has a CE certification for medical devices and is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

Aplikace iHealth MyVitals (iOS, Android) is used to monitor measured values by various iHealth devices, to display personal health trends, to determine an assessment of physical activity and energy intake, to set a goals you want to achieve as part of your fitness condition and monitor their fulfillment etc. You can select whether you use the application for measurement of blood pressure and storage all values, or if you will use its wider options in conjunction with other devices. iHealth MyVitals application is available for free.

Compatibility with platforms
iHealth MyVitals is available for devices with iOS and Android system. As the range of iHealth devices is being extended, additional functionalities are continuously being added to the application. Record complexity of the users health condition is also being extended.

Compatibility with Apple HealthKit
iHealth MyVitals is the first application for medical instruments fully compatible with Apple HealthKit and application “Health”, which is a part of iOS 8.0.1 and later.

History view in graphs
